Introduction

AISensy is an India-headquartered WhatsApp Business API platform popular with high-volume Shopify stores in India and Southeast Asia. Once connected, the WhatsApp Workflow node can send AISensy campaign messages from any workflow — points earned, reward redeemed, tier upgraded, streak about to break, and so on. When to use AISensy

  • You operate primarily in India or SEA and want a local Business Solution Provider.
  • You send high transactional volume and want competitive per-message pricing.
  • You already run AISensy campaigns and want loyalty events to trigger the same approved templates.

Before you start

You have an active AISensy account with WhatsApp Business API.
You have at least one approved AISensy campaign / template.
You know your AISensy API endpoint URL (typically https://backend.aisensy.com/campaign/t1/api/v2).

Connect AISensy to Yuko

Get your AISensy API key

Log in to the AISensy dashboard → Manage → API Key. Copy the API key.

Open AISensy in Yuko

In Shopify admin, go to Apps → Yuko Loyalty → Integrations → AISensy.

Paste the API key and Connect

Paste the key and click Connect. The tile flips to Connected.

Add an AISensy step to a workflow

Open any workflow, click +, pick WhatsApp, and choose AISensy in the provider dropdown.

When you add a WhatsApp node and pick AISensy, the node exposes the fields AISensy’s API expects:

The Campaign Name must match the campaign name in your AISensy dashboard exactly — it’s case-sensitive. A typo here is the most common reason an AISensy step fails silently.

Example use case

Diamond tier welcome
  1. Create an approved AISensy campaign called loyalty_diamond_welcome with three variables: customer name, points balance, exclusive perk.
  2. In Yuko Workflows, build: Trigger: VIP Tier EnteredFilter: tier = DiamondWhatsApp (AISensy).
  3. Set Campaign Name = loyalty_diamond_welcome, Parameter Count = 3, Parameters = {{first_name}}, {{points_balance}}, Free shipping on every order.
  4. Activate. The next customer to hit Diamond gets the message within seconds.

Limitations

  • Approved campaigns only. AISensy enforces template approval; an un-approved campaign name will fail at send time.
  • No template authoring inside Yuko. Create and edit templates in the AISensy dashboard.
  • No delivery status webhook. Yuko logs the node action as pending / completed / failed based on the AISensy API response, not on delivered / read events.

  1. Is the campaign name spelled exactly as in AISensy? 2. Is the campaign approved? 3. Does the customer have a valid phone number in Shopify? 4. Does parameter count match the template’s variable count?
Yes — use one WhatsApp node per campaign. Each node points to one campaign name.
In the AISensy dashboard. Yuko shows aggregate node-level pending / completed / failed counts only.
Generate a new key in AISensy, then paste it into the Yuko AISensy integration tile and click Connect again.
