Introduction
General settings are the few store-wide preferences that affect every Yuko module. Set them once during onboarding; they rarely need to change.What’s configured here
- Store name — used in widget headers, email templates and the Customer Account hub.
- Currency — inherited from Shopify; overridable for display purposes.
- Timezone — used for daily checks (e.g., birthday emails) and analytics.
- Default locale — falls through if a customer has no preferred locale.
Setup
Confirm store name and currency
Both inherit from Shopify. Override only if you have a clear reason.
Set the timezone
Use your store’s primary timezone — it determines when daily-trigger campaigns (Birthday, Anniversary, Daily Visit) fire.
