Introduction

The General tab holds a few store-wide preferences used across Yuko. Set them once during setup; they rarely need to change.

What’s configured here

Your store name, currency and languages come from Shopify and aren’t edited here. To translate customer-facing text, use Translations.

Setup

Open General

Go to Apps → Yuko Loyalty → Account → General.

Set the timezone

Search for and pick your store’s primary timezone.

Choose date and time formats

Pick the formats your team and customers expect.

Set the coupon prefix

Enter 2–6 characters using letters, numbers and underscores only, for example YK_ or VIP.

Upload your logo

Click Customise next to Logo, upload an image and check the preview. Images must be under 1 MB; around 200 × 50 pixels works best.

Save

Click Save in the save bar.

Best practices

Use your store’s primary timezone, not the timezone of whoever set up the app, so date-based emails go out at sensible times.
Keep the coupon prefix short and recognisable. It makes these codes easy to spot in Shopify’s discount reports.
Use a wide, transparent logo. It reads better in email headers than a square icon.

Yuko uses your Shopify store currency for points value, discounts and store credit, so it always follows Shopify.
No. Codes that were already issued keep their current prefix. The new prefix applies to codes generated after you save.
It must be 2–6 characters long and contain only letters, numbers and underscores.
