What are email notifications
Yuko sends automated emails to customers when meaningful loyalty events happen — they earn points, redeem a reward, move up a tier, or unlock a membership. Each event has a built-in template that you can fully customise. Emails inherit your store Branding & Locale settings, so colors, logo and language are consistent with your widgets without extra setup.All templates

How emails work
- A customer triggers a loyalty event (e.g., places an order that earns points).
- Yuko evaluates whether the corresponding template is enabled.
- The template’s content is rendered — shortcodes are replaced with real data, branding is applied.
- The email is sent to the customer’s email address from your configured sender.
- The send is logged in the customer’s activity feed.
Enabling or disabling templates
Every template has its own toggle. Disabling a template stops Yuko from sending it — useful if you handle a specific event in your own ESP (e.g., Klaviyo for points-earned emails).Best practices
