Introduction

The Customer Account Page widget mounts a full loyalty hub inside Shopify’s New Customer Accounts. Customers see their balance, available rewards, VIP status and activity feed without leaving Shopify.

What problem this solves

Most loyalty apps push customers to a separate page or domain. Putting the hub inside Shopify’s account experience removes friction — customers find it where they already manage their orders and profile.

The new Shopify Customer Accounts.
Both order pages (balance card) and the profile page (full hub).

You’ve enabled New Customer Accounts in Shopify.
You want a loyalty hub without building a standalone landing page.
You want the loyalty experience to feel native to Shopify.

Before you start

Yuko app is installed on your Shopify store.

Your loyalty program is enabled.

The widget is set to Active in Shopify admin → Apps → Yuko Loyalty → Loyalty → Widgets.

Your active Shopify theme supports Online Store 2.0 app blocks.

New Customer Accounts is enabled in Shopify admin → Settings → Customer accounts.

The Customer Account extension is activated — see Activate the Customer Account Extension.

Setup guide

1. Configure in Yuko

Open the widget settings

Go to Apps → Yuko Loyalty → Loyalty → Widgets → Customer Account Page.

Configure visible sections

Choose which sections render in the hub:

Points balance
Earned rewards
Ways to redeem
VIP tier (if enabled)
Activity feed

Customise headings and copy

Each section has a title and description you can override.

Activate

Toggle Active.

2. Add the extension in Shopify

Open the Customer Accounts editor

In your Shopify admin, go to Settings → Customer accounts → Customize.

Add the Yuko Loyalty block

Click Add block on the order or profile page and choose the Yuko Loyalty extension.

Position and save

Position the block where customers will see it and click Save.

This surface is part of Shopify’s New Customer Accounts. Make sure new customer accounts are enabled in Settings → Customer accounts.

Add the Yuko Loyalty block to both the order list and profile pages for full coverage.

3. Verify

How it works

Shopify mounts the Yuko extension inside customer accounts.
The extension fetches points, rewards, tier and activity from Yuko.
The full hub renders on the profile page; a balance card renders on order pages.

Decision guidance

Enable both placements (order list + profile) so customers see balance everywhere.
Show the activity feed if customers ask “where did my points go?” often — it answers that question without a support ticket.

Limitations

Requires Shopify’s New Customer Accounts.
Visual customisation is constrained by Shopify’s extension surface.
Some text strings have character limits enforced by Shopify.

A growth-stage brand replaces a /pages/rewards Shopify page with this hub and reduces support tickets about “where do I see my points?” by 40%.

Best practices

Add it on day one. Customers expect loyalty inside their account; making them hunt for it costs redemption rate.

Pair with a points-balance reminder email to bring customers back into the hub.

FAQs

Can I use this with the legacy customer accounts?

No — use the Rewards Landing Page instead.

Why is the VIP section empty?

Either VIP tiers are not enabled, or the customer hasn’t been assigned a tier yet.

Can I add custom sections?

Not in v1. Stick with the section toggles provided.
