Introduction

Analytics shows how your loyalty program performs over time. Pick a date range, compare periods, open a report for any metric to see the rows behind it, and export them as CSV. Analytics is labelled Beta in the app. The quick totals on the home screen are covered in Dashboard.
Analytics and some of its tabs are available on select plans. When a metric isn’t included in your plan, its card is blurred and its report shows Report locked.

Overview

Analytics has six tabs:

How to use Analytics

Pick a date range

Use the date picker at the top right. The presets are Today, Yesterday, Last 7 days, Last 30 days, Last 90 days and Last 365 Days, or choose Custom and enter Since and Until dates. The default is the last 30 days. Metric cards show the change versus the previous period of the same length (vs last period).

Compare periods (Retention tab)

On the Retention tab, and on Retention reports, a comparison picker appears next to the date range:
  • No comparison
  • Previous period: the same number of days immediately before your range.
  • Previous year: the same dates one year earlier.
  • Custom: your own Since and Until dates.

Read a metric

Hover over a metric’s title to see its description. Headline metric cards also show the formula. The metric definitions below list them all.

Open a report

1

Click View report

Most cards have a View report button. It opens a full page for that metric.
2

Adjust the filters

Change the date range, and on stores with VIP tiers, filter by tier. Points Expiring and Rewards Expiring use a forward-looking window instead: Next 14 days, Next 30 days, Next 60 days or Next 90 days.
3

Review the data

The report shows the metric total with its change, a Trend chart and a table of the underlying records. Use Search records to find a customer or order.
4

Click Export CSV

Yuko downloads the rows in the table, including your search and tier filter. Reports with a customer column also include Email, Phone and Shopify customer ID.

Best practices

Check the Health Score monthly. A drop in one sub-rate, such as Reward Usage, points to a specific fix, such as making rewards easier to find.
Plan around expiry. Use Points Expiring to time a reminder email or workflow before customers lose their balance.
Filter reports by tier to see whether VIP customers really order more and spend more.
Export before campaigns. A CSV of top advocates or expiring points makes a ready-made audience list.
