Where to find this: Shopify admin → Apps → Yuko Loyalty → Loyalty → Widgets → Order List Balance
Introduction
Display the customer’s current points balance at the top of their Shopify order history page — a visible reminder of the program every time they check past orders. What problem this solves
Returning customers visit their order history more than they visit your loyalty hub. Surfacing the balance here keeps the program top-of-mind without forcing a click.Where it appears
- The customer’s order history page (
/accountor new customer accounts).
When to use
- You want a passive reminder of the program in the customer’s account flow.
- You want returning customers to see their balance without seeking it out.
Overview
- Single-line balance display.
- Customisable message.
- Works on legacy and new customer account pages.
Before you start
Yuko app is installed on your Shopify store.
Your loyalty program is enabled.
The widget is set to Active in Shopify admin → Apps → Yuko Loyalty → Loyalty → Widgets.
Your active Shopify theme supports Online Store 2.0 app blocks.
Setup guide
1. Configure in Yuko
2. Add to Shopify
Open the Theme Editor
In your Shopify admin, go to Online Store → Themes, find your active theme, and click Customize.
Pick the right template
Use the template selector at the top to open the page where this widget should appear (Product, Cart, etc.).
Add the Yuko app block
Click Add block in the section where you want the widget. Under Apps, select the Yuko block listed for this widget.
3. Verify
Log in as a real customer and confirm the balance is shown above the order list.Available placeholders
| Placeholder | Replaced with |
|---|---|
[points_value] | The numeric points value (per product, per cart or per order, depending on widget). |
[points_label] | Your configured points label (e.g., Points, Stars, Coins). |
[point_balance] | The customer’s current points balance. |

[next_tier] | Name of the customer’s next VIP tier. |
[tier_entry_amount] | Spend or points threshold to reach the next tier. |
[multiplier_value] | Points multiplier applied at the customer’s current tier. |
How it works
- Reads the logged-in customer’s points balance.
- Renders the message with the balance substituted.
- Updates on page reload (not realtime).
Decision guidance
- Pair with the Customer Account Page for a fully integrated account experience.
- Use this on legacy customer accounts if you can’t use the Customer Account extension.
Limitations
- Only renders for logged-in customers.
- Hides itself if the customer has zero balance and no activity.
Examples
- “Your balance: 480 Stars” shown above the customer’s order history.
