Introduction

The Customers page is your operational view of the loyalty program. Every Shopify customer who earns or redeems anything appears here, with a full activity log, current balance, active rewards and recent orders.

What problem this solves

When a customer asks “where are my points?” you need to answer in 30 seconds. The Customers view gives you the full audit trail — and the ability to manually credit or debit points to fix issues without touching the database.

When to use

  • Resolving customer support tickets about missing or incorrect points.
  • Migrating customers in from a previous loyalty program.
  • Debugging an earning rule.
  • Manually rewarding a customer for a one-off action.

Overview

  • Searchable list of every loyalty customer.
  • Customer detail with balance, tier, transactions, activity, recent orders and active rewards.
  • Manual credit / debit points action with a required note.
  • Bulk import customers via CSV.

Before you start

Yuko app is installed on your Shopify store — see Install Yuko on Shopify.
The Yuko Theme App Embed is enabled in your active theme.
Your loyalty program is enabled at Shopify admin → Apps → Yuko Loyalty → Loyalty → Settings.
Points label and currency are configured.

Setup guide

Find a customer

1

Open the Customers list

Login to your Shopify admin and go to Apps → Yuko Loyalty → Loyalty → Customers.
2

Search by email, name or Shopify customer ID. Use the filters to narrow by tier, points balance or last activity.
3

Click a row to open the customer detail panel.

Adjust points manually

1

Open the customer profile

Find and open the customer.
2

Choose Credit or Debit

Click Adjust points and pick Credit to add or Debit to remove.
3

Enter amount and note

Import customers

1

Open Import

From the customer list, click Import.
2

Upload your CSV

Map your CSV columns to Yuko fields: email, points balance, tier (optional).
3

Validate

Yuko shows a preview and reports any rows it can’t match to a Shopify customer.
4

Import

Confirm the import. Each row creates a manual credit transaction so the audit log stays clean.

How it works

  • The customer record is a 1:1 mirror of the Shopify customer.
  • Each adjustment creates a points transaction with the agent’s name and reason note.
  • The activity feed merges points transactions, redemptions, tier changes and earned rewards into a single chronological view.

Decision guidance

  • Always include a reason note when adjusting points. Future you (and your support team) will thank you.
  • Use Import for migrations, not for ongoing operations. Use the API for any recurring sync.

Limitations

  • Adjustments don’t trigger Way-to-Earn campaigns; they’re a direct ledger operation.
  • Import is one-shot; updates re-import as additive credits, not in-place edits.

Examples

  • A support agent compensates a customer with 200 points for a botched delivery, with note “Goodwill credit — delivery delay 5/12”.
  • A migrating store imports 12,000 customers from a previous loyalty app, mapping spend to a starting balance.

Best practices

Treat the activity feed as legally meaningful. It’s the source of truth in disputes.
Limit who can adjust points. Restrict the Adjust points action to admins via team roles.

FAQs

They appear after their first qualifying event (earn, redeem, manual adjust). Customers without any activity won’t show.
