Introduction
The Customers page is your operational view of the loyalty program. Every Shopify customer who earns or redeems anything appears here, with a full activity log, current balance, active rewards and recent orders. What problem this solves
When a customer asks “where are my points?” you need to answer in 30 seconds. The Customers view gives you the full audit trail — and the ability to manually credit or debit points to fix issues without touching the database. When to use
- Resolving customer support tickets about missing or incorrect points.
- Migrating customers in from a previous loyalty program.
- Debugging an earning rule.
- Manually rewarding a customer for a one-off action.
Overview
- Searchable list of every loyalty customer.
- Customer detail with balance, tier, transactions, activity, recent orders and active rewards.
- Manual credit / debit points action with a required note.
- Bulk import customers via CSV.

Adjust points manually

Enter the points value and a short reason. The note is required and shows up in the audit log.
Import customers
How it works
- The customer record is a 1:1 mirror of the Shopify customer.
- Each adjustment creates a points transaction with the agent’s name and reason note.
- The activity feed merges points transactions, redemptions, tier changes and earned rewards into a single chronological view.
Decision guidance
- Always include a reason note when adjusting points. Future you (and your support team) will thank you.
- Use Import for migrations, not for ongoing operations. Use the API for any recurring sync.
Limitations
- Adjustments don’t trigger Way-to-Earn campaigns; they’re a direct ledger operation.
- Import is one-shot; updates re-import as additive credits, not in-place edits.
Examples
- A support agent compensates a customer with 200 points for a botched delivery, with note “Goodwill credit — delivery delay 5/12”.
- A migrating store imports 12,000 customers from a previous loyalty app, mapping spend to a starting balance.
