# Referrals

> Turn customers into advocates with a dual-reward referral program — customisable rewards, fraud prevention, social sharing and UTM tracking, all built in.

## What is the Referral Program

The Referral Program lets your existing customers refer friends. Both sides get rewarded — the **referrer** for sharing, and the **friend** for completing a qualifying action (typically their first order).

It's not a separate app or page; it sits alongside your loyalty program and shares the same customer base, points balance and storefront widgets.

## Who it's for

* Brands with positive word-of-mouth that want to systematise it.
* High-AOV or considered-purchase stores where personal recommendations carry weight.
* Stores looking to lower customer acquisition cost via existing customers.

## How it fits together

The referrer reward and friend reward are independent — pick what suits each side.

## Get started

2. Decide rewards in **[Reward Types](/referrals/reward-types)**.
3. Add the **[Storefront Widget](/referrals/widget)** so customers can find their referral link.
