# Facebook & Instagram

> Social verification for Like and Follow earning campaigns.

## Introduction

The Facebook & Instagram connector authorises Yuko to interact with your Facebook page and Instagram account at the API level. It's used to support the [Facebook Like](/loyalty/ways-to-earn/facebook-like), [Facebook Share](/loyalty/ways-to-earn/facebook-share), and [Instagram Follow](/loyalty/ways-to-earn/instagram-follow) campaigns.

## When to use

* You're running social Way-to-Earn campaigns.
* You want your Facebook page URL and Instagram handle to be configured once and reused across campaigns.

## Prerequisites

<Check>You administer the Facebook page and Instagram account you want to connect.</Check>

## Setup

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the integration">
    Go to **Apps → Yuko Loyalty → Integrations → Facebook & Instagram**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Connect">
    Authorise Yuko via Meta's OAuth dialog. Pick the page and account you want to connect.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Once connected, Yuko uses the connected page / account in social campaigns.
  </Step>

## Limitations

* Meta's APIs do not expose programmatic verification of Likes or Follows. Yuko's verification is intent-based — see each campaign's documentation.
* Re-authorise periodically when Meta tokens expire.

## Best practices

<Tip>**Re-check the connection after Meta password changes** — OAuth tokens can be invalidated.</Tip>
