# AISensy

> Connect AISensy as your WhatsApp Business API provider — used by the WhatsApp Workflow node to send template messages on loyalty events.

<Note>
  **Where to find this:** Shopify admin → Apps → Yuko Loyalty → Integrations → AISensy
</Note>

## Introduction

[AISensy](https://www.aisensy.com) is an India-headquartered WhatsApp Business API platform popular with high-volume Shopify stores in India and Southeast Asia. Once connected, the [WhatsApp Workflow node](/workflows/whatsapp-node) can send AISensy campaign messages from any workflow — points earned, reward redeemed, tier upgraded, streak about to break, and so on.

For the provider-agnostic overview of how Yuko's WhatsApp integration works, see [WhatsApp](/integrations/whatsapp).

## When to use AISensy

* You operate primarily in India or SEA and want a local Business Solution Provider.
* You send high transactional volume and want competitive per-message pricing.
* You already run AISensy campaigns and want loyalty events to trigger the same approved templates.

## Before you start

<Check>You have an active AISensy account with WhatsApp Business API.</Check>
<Check>You have at least one **approved** AISensy campaign / template.</Check>
<Check>You know your AISensy API endpoint URL (typically `https://backend.aisensy.com/campaign/t1/api/v2`).</Check>

  </Step>
</Steps>

## Configure the AISensy step in a workflow

When you add a WhatsApp node and pick AISensy, the node exposes the fields AISensy's API expects:

| Field                        | What it is                                                                                    | Example                                                     |
| ---------------------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Endpoint URL**             | AISensy's campaign API endpoint                                                               | `https://backend.aisensy.com/campaign/t1/api/v2`            |
| **Campaign Name** | The name of the approved AISensy campaign to trigger | `loyalty_tier_upgrade` |
| **Source** | Optional source identifier passed back to AISensy analytics | `yuko_workflow` |
| **Template Parameter Count** | How many variables the template expects (1–25) | `3` |
| **Template Parameters**      | One value per variable — supports [shortcodes](/workflows/whatsapp-node#available-shortcodes) | `{{first_name}}`, `{{vip_tier_name}}`, `{{points_balance}}` |
| **Tags**                     | Optional comma-separated tags for AISensy reporting                                           | `loyalty, tier_change`                                      |
| **Attributes**               | Optional JSON of custom attributes                                                            | `{"segment": "vip"}`                                        |

<Tip>The **Campaign Name** must match the campaign name in your AISensy dashboard exactly — it's case-sensitive. A typo here is the most common reason an AISensy step fails silently.</Tip>

## Example use case

**Diamond tier welcome**

1. Create an approved AISensy campaign called `loyalty_diamond_welcome` with three variables: customer name, points balance, exclusive perk.
2. In Yuko Workflows, build: **Trigger: VIP Tier Entered** → **Filter: tier = Diamond** → **WhatsApp (AISensy)**.
3. Set Campaign Name = `loyalty_diamond_welcome`, Parameter Count = `3`, Parameters = `{{first_name}}`, `{{points_balance}}`, `Free shipping on every order`.
4. Activate. The next customer to hit Diamond gets the message within seconds.

## Limitations

* **Approved campaigns only.** AISensy enforces template approval; an un-approved campaign name will fail at send time.
* **No template authoring inside Yuko.** Create and edit templates in the AISensy dashboard.
* **No delivery status webhook.** Yuko logs the node action as pending / completed / failed based on the AISensy API response, not on delivered / read events.

## FAQs

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="The node logs the action as failed — what do I check?">
    1. Is the campaign name spelled exactly as in AISensy? 2. Is the campaign approved? 3. Does the customer have a valid phone number in Shopify? 4. Does parameter count match the template's variable count?
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Can I have multiple AISensy campaigns active at once?">
    Yes — use one WhatsApp node per campaign. Each node points to one campaign name.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Where do AISensy delivery stats live?">
    In the AISensy dashboard. Yuko shows aggregate node-level pending / completed / failed counts only.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="How do I rotate the API key?">
    Generate a new key in AISensy, then paste it into the Yuko AISensy integration tile and click **Connect** again.
  </Accordion>
