# Welcome to Yuko

> Yuko is a loyalty, VIP tiers, referrals, memberships and workflows app built for Shopify merchants.

## What is Yuko

Yuko is a customer retention platform for Shopify. It brings loyalty points, VIP tiers, referrals, paid memberships, email notifications and workflow automation together in one app, with one set of customers and one dashboard.

This documentation covers the **Shopify** version of Yuko.

## Install on Shopify

Yuko is a public Shopify app, and installation takes a few minutes.

You don't need to edit theme code. You configure everything in Yuko and add widgets with Shopify's theme editor and extension settings.
