# Dashboard

> The Yuko home screen, with your setup checklist, theme setup guide, order usage and loyalty revenue at a glance.

## Introduction

The Dashboard is the first page you see when you open Yuko. It shows what's left to set up and gives you a quick read on how your loyalty and referral programs are performing. For detailed reporting, date ranges and exports, use [Analytics](/analytics/reports).

## What's on the Dashboard

From top to bottom:

| Section | What it shows |
| - | - |
| **Order usage** | Orders used this month against your monthly allowance, shown as `used / limit Orders / month` with a progress bar and an **Upgrade** link. Shown on larger screens. |
| **Free setup banner** | An offer to have the Yuko team set up your program and widgets, with a **Book a free setup call** button. |
| **Setup Guide** | The **Enable Yuko Theme App Extension** step. |
| **Loyalty and referral totals** | Two cards of headline numbers for loyalty and referrals. |
| **Loyalty-driven Revenue** | Revenue from orders that used a loyalty redemption, referral or VIP perk, with a breakdown. |
| **Set up your programs** | A checklist showing which programs are on. |
| **Need any help?** | **Chat with support** and **Read Docs**. |

## Setup Guide

The Setup Guide has one step: **Enable Yuko Theme App Extension**. Yuko's storefront widgets only load when the Yuko App embed is on in your theme.

    Yuko opens the Shopify Theme Editor in a new tab.

  <Step title="Turn on the embed and save">
    Switch on **Yuko App** under **App embeds** and click **Save** in the Theme Editor.

  <Step title="Click Refresh status">
    Back in Yuko, click **Refresh status**. The step is marked complete once Yuko detects the embed.

## Set up your programs

This checklist lists each Yuko program with an **On** or **Off** badge and a **Set up** button:

Click **Refresh** after you turn on a program to update the badges.

## Headline metrics

### Loyalty card

| Metric | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Customers** | Customers in your Yuko database |
| **Points Redeemed** | Total points customers have redeemed |
| **Points Earned** | Total points customers have earned |
| **Points Expired** | Total points that have expired |

### Referral card

| Metric | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **Referral Revenue** | Revenue from referral orders |
| **Referral Orders** | Number of orders that came from referrals |
| **Referral Members** | Customers taking part in your referral program |
| **Rewards Issued** | Referral rewards issued |

### Loyalty-driven Revenue

The headline figure is revenue from orders placed with a loyalty redemption, referral or VIP perk from Yuko. Below it, each line shows the revenue and number of orders:

* **Loyalty-driven Orders**: orders placed with a loyalty redemption, referral or VIP perk.
* **Referral Orders**: orders from referrals.
* **Loyalty Incentivized Revenue**: orders directly attributed to a loyalty or tier benefit at checkout.

Hover over a label to see its definition.

## How it works

* Dashboard figures are store totals and don't have a date filter. For date ranges, comparisons and trends, use [Analytics](/analytics/reports).
* The figures are cached and refresh periodically, so recent orders can take a short while to show up.
* You can dismiss the free setup banner, the Setup Guide and the **Set up your programs** checklist with the **X** button. Yuko remembers this in your browser, so they may show again on a different browser or device.
* Revenue is shown in your store currency.

## Best practices

<Tip>**Finish the Setup Guide first.** Without the app embed, none of Yuko's storefront widgets appear.</Tip>
<Tip>**Use the checklist as a launch list.** Turn on loyalty first, then VIP tiers and referrals once customers are earning points.</Tip>
<Tip>**Watch Loyalty-driven Revenue over time.** If it stays flat, review your rewards and widgets so customers can see and use their points.</Tip>

## FAQs

  <Accordion title="Why does the Setup Guide still say the embed is off?">
    Make sure you saved the theme after turning on **Yuko App**, and that you changed your published theme. Then click **Refresh status**.

  <Accordion title="I dismissed the checklist. How do I get it back?">
    Dismissed cards are remembered in your browser. Opening Yuko in another browser shows them again. Program status is also shown on each module's page.

  <Accordion title="Why don't the Dashboard numbers match Analytics?">
    The Dashboard shows store totals. Analytics shows the date range you pick, and some metrics use different definitions. Check a metric's definition in [Analytics](/analytics/reports#metric-definitions).
